Australian born, Lucas Parry, is a dynamic speaker, worship leader, pastor, recording artist and mission mobilizer. His passion for educating, equipping and inspiring people to engage in humanitarian and social justice issues is simply infectious. Whether it be on extreme poverty, AIDS, human trafficking, child soldiers, disease, famine, refugees, fair trade or many other issues, he has presented events in hundreds of churches, schools and college campuses throughout the USA, Australia and New Zealand. His stories and passion for the ‘least of these’ come from his travels to over twenty five different countries doing mission, aid relief and humanitarian work in some of the worlds most remote locations, including in Botswana with the ‘Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert’ (from the movie ‘The Gods Must Be Crazy). Lucas currently serves as the pastor of Worship and Missions at New Life Community Church in Asheville NC, and is the Co-founder of ‘First Generation‘, a revolutionary organization helping people find solutions to global issues through education, events and technology platforms. First Generation’s co-operative giving program (launching in August) will change lives and entire communities throughout the worlds poorest countries. In his spare time he loves to hang with his wife and family, write music, read, watch movies, and play a good game of cricket!
